Car Sign Advertising

by Doctor Marshall

Car Signs.

Offline advertising really has opened up in recent years in a bid to try and beat the Internet at its own game. New and unique ways of advertising have been created and thanks to developing technologies they are already becoming more and more affordable. Advertising on buses, trucks and taxis has been available for quite some time but now there is a much more readily available form of advertising available to you. Advertising on normal, every day cars.

When you first hear of this opportunity it may not sound anything special but the possibilities are virtually limitless. Even cars that don’t travel far are often parked at the side of the road, and by selecting a car parked on a busy road there is no reason why you can’t get thousands of people looking at your advert every single day. Because the technique is still relatively new heads turn when a car advert passes, so buying into the craze now is a superb opportunity.

Advantages of car signs over other outdoor advertising strategies.

Most outdoor advertising strategies only afford you a few seconds of time in a potential customers view. Cars drive past billboards and the opportunity has past, but because a car is traveling with the traffic it means that other drivers view the ad for longer than just a few seconds and in busy traffic this can mean some pretty serious exposure for your advertisement. Of course, when the car is parked it offers similar advantages to the billboard except because it is much more unusual it will grab more attention and keep it for longer. Both drivers and pedestrians will see your advert and spend time looking at it.

Taking advantage of the mobile world.

Radio used to be the best way to take advantage of the mobile world we live in but this simply isn’t turning out to be the case anymore. As more and more people have CD players in their car fewer people are listening to the radio while driving. Even considering those that do, if you pay for one 30 second advert you get 30 seconds of exposure and then it’s over until your next ad appears, and who really pays attention to radio advertisements?
‘Do you know what I saw today?’
With a full car wrap you essentially have exposure 24 hours a day. Whether the car is moving or stationery your ad is there for everyone to see. Heads will turn and brains will move resulting in prolonged exposure and people remembering what they saw. Because it’s so unusual you will also get the word of mouth effect. If you saw a car with an advert all over it you would undoubtedly tell the people you work with and the people you live with, and in turn they will tell others. The first question most people will ask is’ What did it say?’
